Star Wars Jedi: Survivor from Respawn may soon arrive on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One consoles. This development was revealed by the Brazilian rating board, as shared by Twitter user @the_marmolade.
Initially slated as an exclusive for the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series S|X, Electronic Arts confirmed the release for eighth-generation consoles in August 2023, bringing relief to fans awaiting its launch.
Despite a lack of updates for almost a year, the expansion to additional platforms broadens the player base. However, concerns linger regarding the game’s performance, given its history of issues, particularly on PC.
Star Wars Jedi: Survivor encountered performance challenges, necessitating multiple updates post-launch by Respawn Entertainment. While some problems persist, the game itself garnered positive feedback, receiving an 8.3 out of 10 rating in a review by Kai Tatsumoto at Wccftech.
According to Tatsumoto, “Star Wars Jedi: Survivor maintains the essence of its predecessor while introducing new elements, establishing itself as a worthy sequel in uncharted territories.”
Actor Cameron Monaghan, who voices the protagonist Cal Kestis, hinted at a potential third installment in the series. However, fans may need to wait a few more years for its release, given the production timeline.
