The iPhone 16 Pro features a 6.3-inch display, while the iPhone 16 Pro Max offers a 6.9-inch display, larger than their predecessors. Apple emphasized that these new models have the “thinnest borders on any Apple product,” labeling them as their “best iPhone displays ever.” The titanium used in the construction is significantly lighter than stainless steel and boasts enhanced scratch resistance.

Available in four finishes – white, black, natural, and “desert” – the iPhone 16 Pro Max claims to offer “the best iPhone battery life ever” without delving into specifics.

Equipped with the A18 Pro chip featuring second-generation 3-nanometer transistors and a new 16-core neural engine designed for Apple Intelligence, the new models promise a 17% increase in total system memory bandwidth. The A18 Pro chip powers new camera capabilities, including a 48-megapixel “fusion camera” for faster data reading, a 48-megapixel ultra-wide camera for detailed wide-angle shots, and a 5x telephoto camera for enhanced zoom shots.

Additional features include video capture in 4k at 120 frames per second, studio-quality mics with reduced noise, and an array of camera and audio innovations for an improved user experience.
