BioWare has unveiled fresh glimpses of Dragon Age: The Veilguard. In addition to highlighting combat and progression aspects, the developer has now shared a recent blog update along with a series of aerial videos showcasing the exploration and environments awaiting players in the game. BioWare outlined five primary locations within Dragon Age: The Veilguard, which encompass the Arlathan Forest, the Hossberg Wetlands, the bustling city of Minrathous, Rivain, and the urban setting of Treviso.
Exploration of these regions not only grants loot but also offers valuable lore insights for the Codex through the discovery of ancient statues, letters, and artifacts. Furthermore, Dragon Age: The Veilguard presents puzzles, some of which can be tackled with the assistance of Rook’s Companion Abilities. Adventurers may even encounter unaffiliated Companions engaged in their own endeavors. Travel through these diverse landscapes is made possible by the network of Eluvian gates referred to as the Crossroads. BioWare has hinted at the inclusion of additional puzzles and side quests within this network.
Prepare for the release of Dragon Age: The Veilguard scheduled for October 31 on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series S|X. Stay tuned for more in-depth coverage of this highly anticipated title!
