Biostar Introduces a Fresh RX 580 Ivory… Arriving in 2024

Biostar has just unveiled their latest graphics card, the RX 580 Ivory. Despite being an older model originally launched back in 2017, it’s receiving a refreshing update in 2024. The standout feature of this card is its unique ivory-colored design, setting it apart from the standard black and gray options in the market.

Measuring a compact 224 mm in length and occupying only two slots, the RX 580 Ivory boasts a sleek and minimalist look. Its cooling system is uncomplicated, with dual fans providing airflow over a sizeable machined aluminum heatsink.

Under the hood, the card is powered by a Polaris 20 GPU with 2048 shader processors. While this is slightly lower than the original RX 580’s 2304 stream processors, it still delivers solid performance. Paired with 8 GB of GDDR5 memory, the RX 580 Ivory is geared towards gaming at lower resolutions, making it ideal for competitive titles and MOBAs that don’t demand high-end hardware.

It’s anticipated that the RX 580 Ivory will primarily target the Asian market, catering to gamers seeking a reliable and affordable solution for their gaming needs.
