A recent announcement from Nixxes, now a part of Sony focusing on PlayStation to PC ports, has revealed the integration of AMD FSR 3.1 into several game titles. These include popular games like Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered, Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales, Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart, Horizon Forbidden West Complete Edition, and Ghost of Tsushima: Director’s Cut.

Nixxes shared the following update regarding this new feature:

Close collaboration with AMD has allowed us to implement FSR 3.1. This technology, designed to enhance performance, is compatible with modern AMD, Intel, and NVIDIA graphics cards.

AMD FSR 3.1 brings advancements in frame generation and improved upscaling quality. It offers the flexibility to combine AMD FSR frame generation with any in-game upscaling technology supported by your graphics card.

Furthermore, AMD FSR 3.1 introduces a Native AA feature that applies high-quality anti-aliasing without upscaling, enhancing overall visual fidelity. By selecting AMD FSR 3 Native AA under anti-aliasing options and disabling Upscaling Method, users can utilize this setting with or without frame generation.

Aside from the AMD FSR 3.1 implementation, each game has received specific enhancements. For instance, titles like Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered, Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales, and Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart (originally developed by Insomniac) have been updated with Intel XeSS version 1.3 featuring XeSS Native AA alongside the addition of controller launch support. These Marvel games also saw enhancements in stability. In the case of Ratchet & Clank, Nixxes resolved an issue related to bullet hole decals not appearing on surfaces upon shooting.

Nixxes also addressed various issues within Sucker Punch’s Ghost of Tsushima: Director’s Cut, such as fixing HDR Max Luminance slider limitations and refining the Legends co-op multiplayer matchmaking system. Notably, Horizon Forbidden West Complete Edition received significant updates, including performance optimizations and new customizable features.

  • Inclusion of a Stylized Mouse Cursor option within the Mouse & Keyboard settings.
  • Addition of an Output Mode selection in the Audio configurations.
  • Various performance enhancements and optimizations.
