AMD Ryzen 9 9950X Outperforms Intel’s Core i9-14900K/13900K by 3x in Latest Benchmark Results

Recent performance tests have unveiled the exceptional speed and efficiency of the upcoming AMD Ryzen 9 9950X processor. Set to hit the market in July, this powerhouse CPU is expected to surpass its predecessors and outshine Intel’s Core i9-14900K and 13900K models by a significant margin.

The Ryzen 9 9950X displayed outstanding results in various benchmarks, including the AIDA64 CPU ray-tracing tests. It delivered a remarkable performance boost of 3 times compared to Intel’s competing processors. This substantial leap in speed positions the 9950X as a formidable choice for users seeking top-tier processing power.

One notable highlight was the CPU AES benchmark, where the Ryzen 9 9950X achieved a speed of 746991 MB/s, nearly doubling the performance of its predecessor and surpassing the Core i9-13900K by 2.5 times. This impressive feat can be attributed to the innovative AVX-512 Vector AES instructions employed by AMD, giving their chips a significant advantage over Intel’s offerings.

In FP32 and FP64 ray-trace benchmarks, the Ryzen 9 9950X continued to showcase its dominance, outperforming the Core i9-13900K by 3.15x and 3.12x, respectively. These exceptional results underscore the advanced capabilities of AMD’s Zen architecture and the superior efficiency of AVX512 instructions in enhancing computational tasks.

Tests conducted using Linpack further reinforced the Ryzen 9 9950X’s superiority, achieving an average of around 1650 GFlops compared to the Core i9-13900K’s 630 GFlops.
