Apple Books is now the designated audiobook headquarters for Reese’s Book Club.

On June 4, 2024, Apple Books was announced as the new official audiobook destination for Reese’s Book Club. This collaboration aims to provide readers with a captivating and engaging experience within the Apple Books app, showcasing the latest book recommendations curated by Reese Witherspoon.

Reese’s Book Club, founded by Reese Witherspoon, is widely known for selecting books each month that center around strong female characters. Apple Books will introduce a dedicated page for users to stay updated on new monthly picks, explore past selections, and enjoy specially curated editorial collections by Apple and Reese’s Book Club editors. To add to the excitement, Apple Books will offer exclusive pricing deals on audiobooks. Readers can anticipate unique audiobook recommendations throughout the year, as authors and talents from Hello Sunshine, a division of Candle Media, will collaborate with Apple Books to unveil these special picks.

Audiobooks play a significant role in enabling readers worldwide to immerse themselves in storytelling, enjoy their favorite books, and achieve their reading objectives, especially while on the move.

Apple Books users can easily navigate to Reese’s Book Club within the app, explore the current selection, including the recently revealed June pick – The Unwedding by Ally Condie. This engaging whodunit story follows a newly divorced woman on a resort getaway to Big Sur, where an unexpected turn of events takes place on a wedding day.

This partnership marks a significant milestone for Candle Media’s Hello Sunshine, expanding its collaboration with Apple beyond producing the Apple TV+ series The Last Thing He Told Me. The successful series has been renewed for a second season, alongside acclaimed shows like The Morning Show, Surface with Gugu Mbatha-Raw, and My Kind of Country, a unique talent search for extraordinary country music performers and Apple TV+’s first competition series.
