Ubisoft recently made a thrilling announcement regarding the much-anticipated game Assassin’s Creed Shadows. In response to community queries, the company revealed that the game will not require a constant online connection to play. Although an internet connection will be necessary for the game’s installation, players will then have the freedom to delve into the immersive world of Feudal Japan offline.

The official Twitter account for Assassin’s Creed shared this exciting news, sparking enthusiasm among fans. It was clarified that while offline play is supported, additional content such as the season pass and expansion packs may require an internet connection for installation.

Just a day before this announcement, Ubisoft unveiled a cinematic trailer for Assassin’s Creed Shadows, showcasing the game’s stunning Japanese setting and revealing its release date of November 15. This upcoming title will also introduce a unique gameplay feature, allowing players to embody two distinct protagonists, Naoe and Yasuke, each with their own captivating storylines and backgrounds.

One of the new mechanics in Shadows that has fans buzzing is the introduction of a knockout system which enables pacifist playthroughs. This, coupled with the dynamic seasonal changes that influence gameplay, promises a fresh and engaging gaming experience for fans of the franchise.

Assassin’s Creed Shadows is slated for release on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, Amazon Luna, and PC. Pre-orders for the game are already available online, generating further excitement and anticipation among eager gamers.
