ASUS Introduces an RTX 4070 Dual with GDDR6 Technology!

The extensive Dual series by ASUS presents a wide array of options within the RTX 40 and RX 7000 lineup. Featuring various designs such as the original models, black/white or white versions, and more compact versions, users have plenty to explore. ASUS has now unveiled the RTX 4070 Dual graphics card, equipped with GDDR6 memory.

RTX 4070 Dual: Enhanced with GDDR6 Memory

ASUS is addressing the shortage of GDDR6X chips, commonly utilized in the NVIDIA range, by introducing a card with GDDR6 memory. This strategic move aims to prevent any interference with higher-end models like the RTX 4090. The RTX 4070 Dual maintains the classic Dual series design, featuring a specialized heatsink, a thickness of 2.5 slots, a length of 22.7 cm, dual fan cooling, and a backplate.

Regarding frequencies, users can choose between two options:

  • Non-OC card:
    • Boost clocked at 2475 MHz
    • OC mode (adjustable via ASUS software) at 2505 MHz
  • OC card:
    • Boost clocked at 2520 MHz
    • OC mode (adjustable via ASUS software) at 2550 MHz

Connectivity includes DisplayPort and HDMI outputs, while power is supplied through an 8-pin PCIe connector instead of a 12VHPWR.
