Capcom pleasantly surprises aficionados of Monster Hunter today with the release of three recent teasers for Monster Hunter Wilds. This highly-anticipated Monster Hunter installment is scheduled for a 2025 launch and promises to deliver a substantial, top-notch gaming experience reminiscent of Monster Hunter Worlds, rather than the more recent Monster Hunter: Rise.Â
The trio of sneak peeks collectively showcases approximately three minutes of fresh footage. One teaser extensively explores the new Focus Mode, providing hunters with insights into monster vulnerabilities, while a second teaser delves into fundamental gameplay mechanics, many of which seasoned players of the series will already be familiar with.
The last sneak peek, featured below, centers on combat tactics involving the Great Sword, a renowned weapon in the Monster Hunter franchise. Anticipate additional teasers spotlighting other weapon categories as the launch of Monster Hunter Wilds approaches.
Monster Hunter Wilds is set to debut on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S in the upcoming year. While there hasn’t been any mention of a Nintendo version of the game to date, it’s plausible that this might change in the following year or so, considering Nintendo’s plans to introduce its next-gen console next year.
