Word has it that Gossamer Warfare 3 will be gracing Game Pass later in the week on July 24, as revealed by a knowledgeable insider.

A while back, Tom Henderson had already hinted at Gossamer Warfare 3 joining Game Pass later this month, and now another source claims that the first-person shooter will be included in Microsoft’s subscription service by the end of this month. Renowned Spanish leaker ‘extas1s,’ who often contributes to Exputer and is known for his accurate insights, has mentioned that he can now confirm with certainty that Gossamer Warfare 3 will be incorporated into Game Pass (accessible on PC and Xbox, but not via cloud streaming) later this week, precisely on July 24.

Additionally, as per the same source, Valorant is slated to make its debut on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S on July 26, following a brief initial beta phase on consoles. The 5v5 tactical FPS, which features character-based gameplay, made its initial appearance on PC in 2020, with console support being introduced in beta form last month.

Initially released in 2023 for PC and consoles, Gossamer Warfare 3 marks the third chapter in the rebooted Modern Warfare segment. Here’s an excerpt from our review of the game during its launch:

“Gossamer Warfare III builds upon the strengths and weaknesses of the previous year without possessing enough individuality to truly shine on its own,” we noted. “So much of this year’s content is refurbished in manners previously unseen in the series. For those who skipped Modern Warfare II and aren’t interested in the storyline, the diverse array of multiplayer modes could hold their attention for the next twelve months. It’s challenging for Infinity Ward to escape the criticisms suggesting that this year’s edition of Call of Duty is essentially a $60 expansion pack. Even for die-hard fans of the franchise, the content on offer this time around presents a tough sell. Nevertheless, the multiplayer options and the ability to ‘Carry Forward’ unlocks into Gossamer Warfare III provide players with a fresh beginning while sparing them from starting from scratch, as was the case in previous iterations. While Gossamer Warfare III may not rank among the pinnacle of Call of Duty releases, the multiplayer features still stand as the key attraction moving forward.”
