Nvidia has initiated Computex today with its most recent keynote. This year, the corporation is intensifying its focus on AI. To commence, Nvidia has introduced Project G-Assist, a fresh attribute that will bring AI game guide aides to supported games. Additionally, RTX Remix is going public, allowing developers to take the technology and modify it as they desire.

Project G-Assist is a GeForce powered AI assistant that can evaluate voice/text, screen and app/system inputs, channel the data through an AI model, and then provide you with useful guidance throughout your gameplay. The project has the capability of proposing system settings adjustments to enhance performance, and it can also offer you pointers on how to effectively approach gameplay, either by guiding you on mechanics, or by providing advice on equipment.

It appears to be an enhanced version of the in-game guide feature that Sony introduced with the PlayStation 5, before quickly discontinuing it a year later. However, Nvidia’s G-Assist can process locally using an RTX graphics card, or via the cloud and thanks to AI functionality, it is expected to improve over time to offer superior tips and tricks. No supported games have been formally disclosed as of yet, but hopefully, more details will be unveiled in the upcoming months.

Nvidia is also releasing RTX Remix, its modding tool for integrating ray-tracing into any game, as open source, enabling developers to utilize it more extensively. The corporation is also launching its new Small Form Factor PC initiative, which will involve board partners releasing SFF-friendly GeForce graphics cards for individuals interested in constructing a Mini-ITX powerhouse.
