New Life is Strange Entry Unveiled for Multiple Platforms

Today at the Xbox Showcase, publisher Square Enix and developer Deck Nine Games introduced the latest addition to the Life is Strange series – Life is Strange: Dual Exposure.

Described by Square Enix as a fresh supernatural mystery that will captivate both new and seasoned players of the series, Dual Exposure follows the story of Max Caulfield, a photographer at Caledon University. After discovering her new friend Safi murdered, Max attempts to rewind time – a power she hasn’t used in a while. This leads her to a parallel timeline where Safi is still alive but in danger. Max must navigate between the two timelines to solve and prevent the same murder.

For further insights, the official announcement trailer can be viewed below.

Additional details about the game will be disclosed during a live stream scheduled for July 13 on the Life is Strange YouTube channel at 9 am PDT/5 pm BST/6 pm CET.

Life is Strange: Dual Exposure is set to launch on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S on October 29. A release for the Switch is also in the works, with more information forthcoming. Visit the official Life is Strange website for more on the game.

The most recent primary installment in the Life is Strange series, True Colors, was released in 2021. Our previous coverage of the game in the launch review praised Deck Nine for their success in staying true to the essence of the series.
