Fresh GeForce Game Ready Driver Enhances The Initial Offspring, Which Also Receives NVIDIA DLSS 3.5

NVIDIA has recently rolled out the latest GeForce Game Ready driver (version 556.12) tailored for The First Descendant, an upcoming free-to-play third-person looter shooter game developed by NEXON. Powered by the Unreal Engine 5, this title will include support for NVIDIA DLSS 3.5 with Ray Reconstruction, ray tracing, NVIDIA DLAA, NVIDIA Reflex, and HDR10+ upon its release on July 2. Our hands-on preview at Summer Game Fest 2024 highlighted the dynamic gameplay mechanics:

“The First Descendant offers a highly mobile third-person shooting experience. Players must stay agile, utilizing jumps and a sleek grappling hook to swiftly navigate the battlefield, outmaneuver colossal bosses, and strategically evade enemy fire. With quick gunplay and seamless movement, the game promises an engaging experience for casual and free-to-play enthusiasts alike.”

The GeForce Game Ready driver also provides optimizations for several titles embracing NVIDIA DLSS technology, including enhancements for PAYDAY 3, Tribes 3: Rivals, and the recently remastered Riven. Furthermore, the driver introduces one-click optimal settings for various games and addresses several bug fixes listed in the official changelog below:
