This action/strategy game, built on a fresh intellectual property, is on the brink of its July 19 premiere. Despite a lukewarm reception from enthusiasts, CAPCOM has opted to unveil a complimentary trial to allow gamers to sample the gameplay before committing. The trial for Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess enables players to explore select stages of the primary game at their leisure, sans any time constraints.
Enhancing the trial experience, CAPCOM has introduced an exciting collaboration with Okami. Participants in the trial worldwide are beckoned to accomplish two missions. A successful outcome entitles all players to receive attire modeled after Amaterasu and Waka from Okami, as well as unlocking a collaborative soundtrack for the full version of the game.
Employing a day/night rotation and seamlessly blending multiple genres encompassing action-adventure, real-time strategy, and tower defense, Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess is designed to challenge players tactically and with their real-time decision-making acumen. By day, players delve into the village, cleansing the corrupted denizens, assigning them diverse roles, and strategically positioning them to ensure the protection of the maiden Yoshiro. However, once night falls, the malevolent Seethe adversaries emerge to assail the mountain. By enhancing roles of village inhabitants for increased assistance and issuing commands to them, players must collaborate in combat to vanquish the Seethe and purify each village.
Players retain the autonomy to reset role enhancements and reassign them to different positions, even empowering the protagonist Soh with fresh assaults and abilities to tailor their strategies towards achieving the objective of safeguarding Maiden Yoshiro and reinstating harmony to the settlements of Mt. Kafuku.
