The AI utilized by Indeed benefits from access to nearly 300 million workers, allowing it to draw on a vast pool of data to improve recruitment outcomes. Smart Sourcing offers employers features such as candidate matching and AI-powered applicant summaries, providing recruiters with detailed insights into each candidate’s suitability for a job. By scanning millions of workers, the tool prioritizes qualified candidates, particularly those who have engaged with Indeed in the past 30 days.

One of the standout features of Indeed’s AI-powered recruitment tool is its automation of messages and interview scheduling, addressing the significant amount of time hiring managers spend sourcing candidates for each role. This automation is aimed at improving efficiency while also freeing up time for recruiters to engage in more personal interactions with potential hires.

According to an external study cited in the announcement, recruiters spend a substantial amount of time reaching out to candidates who are ultimately unsuitable for a position. By leveraging AI and advanced data analysis, Indeed aims to minimize such inefficiencies in the recruitment process.
