Investigator submissions assist us in handling immediate risks while also pinpointing trends and insights to comprehensively enhance the security of our products and services. We are constantly seeking ways to expand on this partnership, and with that objective, we are thrilled to introduce the establishment of the MSRC Investigator Resource Hub.

About the Investigator Resource Hub

This Investigator Resource Hub will serve as a repository of educational content, comprising tutorial videos, blogs, and interviews, designed to direct and empower security researchers. By furnishing educational resources from both Microsoft staff and MSRC’s top external researchers, we anticipate fostering your security research advancement.

The MSRC Investigator Resource Hub offers three categories of content:

  • Researcher Induction Video: Whether you are a first-time submitter or a seasoned Microsoft Most Valuable Researcher, we have something valuable for you. Watch the Researcher Induction Video to acquaint yourself with the Rules of Engagement, case procedures, available rewards through the Bounty Program, Recognition Program points and leaderboards, and our disclosure process.

  • Researcher Spotlight Blogs: Delve into writings from the top researchers at MSRC – including their origins and research focus.

  • Researcher BlueHat Podcasts and Online Seminars: Tune in as Top Microsoft Researchers and employees share their methodologies for security research.
