The solutions for today’s Strands, game #87, include…

  • WEIGHTS
  • ROWER
  • BIKE
  • TREADMILL
  • CABLES
  • ELLIPTICAL
  • SPANGRAM: FITNESS

  • My rating: Simple
  • My score: Perfect

This particular puzzle was quite manageable, with the term WEIGHTS catching my attention early on. Coupled with the obvious theme clue of ‘A good workout,’ it was evident that gym equipment was the solution. Despite not having visited a gym in over two decades, I managed to identify ROWER, BIKE, and TREADMILL without difficulty.

Subsequently, things proceeded smoothly. The spangram FITNESS became apparent quite easily, despite the challenge of running from right to left. While I may not be familiar with an ELLIPTICAL or the presence of CABLES in a gym, I deduced them based on the limited options available at that point.
