Silverstone Introduces its Thick FHS 140X Fans!

Silverstone has just unveiled its latest innovation in cooling technology with the release of the FHS 140X fans, boasting an impressive thickness of 38 mm. These fans are making quite a statement in the market, standing out for their substantial size. To put it into perspective, they surpass the Hyte Thicc FP12s, which are already 32 mm thick!

The FHS 140X fans from Silverstone are undeniably large and robust, designed to meet the demands of server installations. These fans boast a simple and minimalistic design, featuring a square black frame and black blades. Unlike many other fans on the market, they do not come equipped with RGB lighting or rubber silent blocks.

Upon closer inspection of the specifications, it is evident that these fans are built for high-speed operation, clocking in at an impressive 3400 rpm. The product datasheet highlights an airflow of 222.95 CFM and a static pressure of 10 mmH2O, indicating their powerful performance capabilities.

With great power comes great precautions, and Silverstone includes round metal grilles to ensure user safety. These grilles are essential for protecting fingers from the fast-spinning blades, especially at the high speeds these fans are capable of achieving. Assembling PCs can sometimes result in accidental encounters with fan blades, which can be uncomfortable at lower speeds and potentially hazardous at 3400 rpm!

While the retail price for the FHS 140X fans has not been disclosed yet, their impressive specifications and robust design suggest they will be a valuable addition to the cooling solutions in the market.
