As of this moment, the titles of Intel’s upcoming processors have been shrouded in secrecy. While cutting-edge motherboards were exhibited at the Computex event, the names of the CPUs and chipsets were under embargo. Nonetheless, it’s a widely known fact. A segment of Gigabyte PCB has now unveiled the identities of the future chipsets and processors from the blue brand!

A section of Gigabyte PCB unveils Intel’s forthcoming CPUs!

In a view just above the upcoming memory slots, the PCB showcases the titles of the processors it is designed for. This snap confirms that the board is intended for Intel’s Core Ultra processors. Evidently, the fresh blue label is making its way to the desktop platform, a territory formerly reserved for the mobile sector.

The image also discloses that the PCB of the board was in its initial development phases, evident from its black printed circuit board, unlike the model displayed at Computex, which had an entirely white layout. Furthermore, a board labeled “Z890 Aorus Pro Ice” sporting a dark charcoal PCB… doesn’t make the best visual impression.

Lastly, it’s worth mentioning that within this series, the Z890 chipset stands as the flagship model. Specifically, it will facilitate overclocking through a multiplier coefficient and advanced voltage controls. This chipset is set to be the first to hit the market, with a slated launch by year-end. The remaining LGA-1851 lineup is expected to debut in 2025.
