Leaked Reports Suggest AMD Ryzen 9000X3D Launch Date Set for January 2025

Recent reports indicate that the highly awaited AMD Ryzen 9000X3D is poised to hit the market in January 2025. This next-generation series, built on the cutting-edge Zen 5 architecture and showcasing the innovative 3D V-Cache technology, was initially rumored for a September release. However, the latest information suggests a revised timeline, pushing its debut to early next year.

Despite no official confirmation from AMD regarding the exact launch date, reputable sources such as HXL, Yuri “1usmus”, and Hassan Mujtaba have all aligned on the updated schedule. Even with this slight delay, the release cycle for the Ryzen 9000X3D series appears to be notably shorter compared to its predecessors. Unlike the 17-month and 7-month intervals seen with previous models and their 3D V-Cache versions, the new series is expected to bridge that gap in just six months, assuming a simultaneous release of the Ryzen 7 9800X3D alongside other 9000X3D CPUs.

The Ryzen 9000X3D series is anticipated to present three SKUs with cache capacities in line with previous iterations, while also bringing forth improved overclocking capabilities, DDR5 memory support, and unique features to set it apart from the competition.

While enthusiasts may have to exercise a bit more patience for the Ryzen 9000X3D series, the imminent release of the Ryzen 5 7600X3D, slated for the following month, should keep the gaming community excited.
