In honor of the game’s 10th anniversary, EXBO has rolled out the “Day X update,” the most extensive modification in the game’s history. Although the update is yet to be launched, a trailer has been released by EXBO offering a glimpse into what players can anticipate.
The trailer showcases the extensive graphical overhaul that Stalcraft: X is undergoing. Additionally, the game presents a new realm filled with uncharted locations, characters, and adversaries to encounter. It also boasts a fresh soundtrack crafted by esteemed Hollywood composer Jean-Pierre Taieb, known for scoring productions like The Grand Tour, Addict, and Perfect Crimes.
With this update, players will be introduced to the Northern factions, providing them with a fresh viewpoint on existence within the Chernobyl Exclusion Zone and enabling them to align with a faction after delving into their histories. Moreover, to offer players a respite, Personal Shelters have been integrated into the game, serving as havens for relaxation and crafting essential items. These shelters are fully customizable, offering players the option to transform them into subterranean bases if desired.
Central to the Stalcraft: X 10th anniversary celebration is a state-of-the-art animation engine. Under development for two years, this engine will animate characters with enhanced movements, heightened awareness of adversaries on the battlefield, and a more authentic appearance when navigating the game world.
