SugarCRM procures sales-i | beneficial

SugarCRM, a provider of sales automation platforms, has acquired sales-i, a provider of revenue intelligence solutions. The acquisition was confirmed by the company in a press statement. As per the announcement, this purchase will assist SugarCRM customers in optimizing both their revenue and profitability.

With the acquisition, Sugar customers will have the capacity to utilize AI to observe, comprehend, and take action on their own customer information; will receive an intelligent account management system that caters to companies with extensive management needs; and will enable customers to outperform new competitive challenges by unlocking the potential of existing data, among other advantages. With over two million clients globally and an annual income of $73.5 million, SugarCRM is regarded as one of the top CRM software providers in the industry.

Last year, SugarCRM and sales-i unveiled a new collaboration aimed at enhancing business-to-business (B2B) sales performance. The cooperation resulted in AI-driven revenue intelligence that leveraged the data from a business’ enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems and CRM. Businesses gained actionable insights which were utilized to enhance sales, refine marketing strategies, and deliver improved service and support. Consequently, they saw an increase in revenue and experienced higher retention rates, as indicated by the companies involved.

Now, the two companies are advancing to the next level in this partnership through the acquisition. According to Craig Charlton, Chief Executive Officer of Sugar, businesses can now anticipate to “optimize profitability”:

Today, every business operates as a data entity, with the primary challenge being converting that data into valuable insights, aiding managers in recognizing cross-selling or up-selling opportunities while ensuring the happiness of existing clientele.
