TCL announces support for QD-Mini-LED technology in their latest Q Class TVs and teases upcoming release of a 115” model.

TCL has unveiled its latest range of Q Class quantum dot (QD) mini-LED 4K TVs, including the highly anticipated 115-inch model, 115QM891G. This massive TV is set to be the world’s largest QD mini-LED screen and features 20,000 local dimming zones, a peak brightness of 5,000 nits, and 98% DCI-P3 color gamut coverage, thanks to quantum-dot technology and TCL’s QLED Ultra processing.

The 115QM891G is packed with cutting-edge technology, such as TCL’s AiPQ Ultra Processor, Onkyo 6.2.2-channel speakers, Wi-Fi 6, and a NextGen TV tuner for ATSC 3.0 broadcasts. This TV comes with a hefty price tag of $27,000, reflecting its premium features and advanced specifications. TCL has yet to announce a specific release date for this model.

In addition to the flagship 115-inch TV, TCL has expanded its Q Class series with models like the Q651G, Q681G, QM751G, and QM851G, catering to various screen sizes and price points. The Q Class lineup offers features like improved color accuracy, enhanced contrast with full-array local dimming, and increased peak brightness levels for a more immersive viewing experience.

For those looking for more budget-friendly options, TCL’s S Class S5 models offer upgraded features like AiPQ processing, increased brightness, and wider color gamut. These TVs come in sizes ranging from 43 inches to 85 inches, starting at $350, providing consumers with a range of options to suit their needs and preferences.
