It was recently revealed by NACON that the launch of the highly anticipated game Terminator: Survivors has been pushed back to the year 2025. Originally set to debut in early access on PC on October 24, fans will now have to wait a bit longer before diving into the post-apocalyptic world.

In a statement from Marco Ponte, the CEO & Creative Director of NACON Studio Milan, he expressed the following:

The decision to postpone the release of the game was a difficult one, but we believe that this extra time will allow us to ensure that Terminator’s vision of the post-apocalyptic setting meets the standards of quality we aim for.

Terminator: Survivors, which was initially announced during NACON Connect 2024, is a survival game that takes place just four years after Judgment Day, the catastrophic event orchestrated by Skynet to eradicate humans from the planet. Players will emerge from a shelter, tasked with rebuilding society in a hostile world that seeks to eradicate any remnants of humanity. Whether playing solo or cooperatively, participants must scavenge for resources, information, and potential allies to establish a safe haven for their group.

Powered by Unreal Engine 5 technology, Terminator: Survivors offers an offline gameplay experience. Players will encounter a solitary T-800 Terminator as the primary antagonist, a deliberate choice by NACON Studio Milan to capture the essence of the franchise’s early films:

Featuring a lone T-800 as the relentless foe creates an environment of perpetual danger and suspense. Just like the characters in the movies, players will feel the intense pressure of being pursued by an enemy devoid of compassion and immune to negotiation.
