The inaugural installment of Realm of Magic: The Struggle Within launches tomorrow, unveiling a fresh Legendary+ era, Raiding, and PvP arena for players to dive into and aim to elevate their standings. This phase marks the genesis of the latest expansion, offering gamers the chance to explore new dungeons in a Legendary+ environment complete with Legendary features.

In addition, the introduction includes Nerub-ar Palace in both Normal and Heroic modes, while LFR will gain entry to Wing 1 of the raid. During the initial week, players will exclusively engage in Mythic 0 dungeons, allowing them to gear up for the more demanding dungeons on the horizon. All levels of Mythic+ dungeons will be accessible starting on September 17.

Which Legendary+ Dungeons Are Included in The Struggle Within Season 1?

There are eight fresh Legendary+ dungeons awaiting players this season, with four hailing from The Struggle Within. They are as follows:

  • Ara-Kara, City of Echoes
  • City of Threads
  • The Stonevault
  • The Dawnbreaker
  • Mists of Tirna Scithe (Shadowlands)
  • The Necrotic Wake (Shadowlands)
  • Siege of Boralus (Battle for Azeroth)
  • Grim Batol (Cataclysm)

By engaging in Legendary+ dungeons and amassing Rating, players can unlock achievements, titles, and a mount upon achieving specific Rating thresholds.

  • Crest Explorer: Accomplish a Legendary+ Dungeon within the time limit during The Struggle Within Season One.
  • Crest Vanquisher: Reach a Legendary+ Rating of at least 2000 during The Struggle Within Season One—reward: The Tempered title.
  • Crest Master: Achieve a Legendary+ Rating of at least 2000 during The Struggle Within Season One—reward: Diamond Mechsuit mount.
  • Crest Hero: Reach a Legendary+ Rating of at least 2500 during The Struggle Within Season One—reward: Luminous Nerubian Catalyst Stone.

If you finish The Struggle Within Season 1 with a Legendary+ Rating in the top 0.1% of all players in your region, you’ll obtain the Tempered Hero title.

Crest Affixes in The Struggle Within Season 1

Crest Affixes are specific attacks or debuffs that introduce an added level of difficulty to the Legendary+ dungeon. The novel affixes will emerge at Legendary+ Crest level 2, where players will encounter one of the Xal’atath-specific affixes, which include the following:

Xal’atath’s Deal: Ascendant: Xal’atath will summon 10 Orbs of Ascendance every minute, casting Cosmic Ascension. Allowing the casts to complete will enhance nearby mobs with +20% movement speed and Haste per orb. However, players have the option to halt the cast via interruptions, displacement, crowd control, and purging, resulting in a 2% movement speed and Haste buff per orb for players, stackable up to a maximum of 20% movement speed and Haste per occurrence.

Xal’atath’s Deal: Voidbound: While in combat, Xal’atath will summon a Void Emissary, empowering nearby foes with Dark Prayer, reducing damage taken by 10% every three seconds, with the effect accumulating. Upon defeating the Void Emissary, players will gain a +20% ability cooldown rate and a +10% Critical Strike increase lasting 20 seconds.

Xal’atath’s Deal: Oblivion: During combat, Xal’atath materializes crystals from the void that can be absorbed by either enemies or players. Absorbing the crystals before they reach enemies allows players to acquire Void Essence, boosting Mastery and Leech. If the crystals strike enemies, they receive +10% damage reduction per crystal.

Xal’atath’s Deal: Devour: Periodically, Xal’atath casts a Void Rift shield on all five players, removable through healing or dispelling. Failure to eliminate the shield heals nearby mobs by 10% of their health. Dispelling a shield grants players a stack of Lingering Void, providing +2% health and 4% Critical Strike.

Beyond Crest Level 4, players will encounter either Tyrannical or Fortified affixes, alternating weekly. Tyrannical amplifies Dungeon bosses’ health by 30% and damage by 15%, while Fortified enhances non-boss enemies’ health by 20%, coupled with up to 20% increased damage.

Upon reaching Crest Level 7, a new affix known as Challenger’s Peril takes effect. Each player death results in a deduction of 15 seconds from the dungeon timer, as opposed to the customary 5-second deduction.

Upon reaching Crest Level 10, Fortified and Tyrannical are concurrently active, implying that if encountering Tyrannical one week, players may face Fortified instead upon reaching Level 10.

At Crest Level 12, Xalatath’s Deal affixes are replaced with Xal’atath’s Guile, boosting enemies’ health and damage by 20%, while players no longer benefit from the buffs of the Deal affixes.

This Legendary+ season promises to be notably challenging, necessitating players to be discerning in their selection of a Legendary+ squad.
