On this day, NVIDIA has unveiled a fresh GeForce Game Ready driver, version 560.70, now accessible via the official site, GeForce Experience, or the new NVIDIA app. This update is finely tuned for three upcoming game releases: A44’s Soulslite Flintlock: The Siege of Dawn, Mithril Interactive’s initial-person ‘extraction fantasy dungeon crawler’ Dungeonborne, and Frost Giant’s Warcraft-inspired real-time strategy game Stormgate.

All of these gaming experiences are compatible with NVIDIA DLSS Super Resolution and DLSS Frame Generation. Notably, NVIDIA disclosed that Flintlock: The Siege Dawn utilizes the AI-driven Audio2Face method to generate facial animation and synchronize lips based on audio data.

Furthermore, NVIDIA presented benchmark statistics for Dungeonborne. DLSS 3 (Super Resolution and Frame Generation) can advance frame rates by an average of 3.3 times at 4K resolution with ray tracing activated. The RTX 4090 GPU achieved nearly 190 average frames per second, while even the RTX 4060 managed over 60 frames per second.

Users of GeForce RTX 40 will also have the opportunity to experience two NVIDIA DLSS versions in two forthcoming beta tests: Throne and Liberty (July 18-23) and Marvel Rivals (July 23-August 5).

The recent GeForce Game Ready driver launch introduces fourteen new G-Sync Compatible screens, listed in the table below.

This newly released GeForce Game Ready driver does not address specific gaming issues. Nevertheless, the official changelog comprises noteworthy general fixes for various reported problems as follows:

  • [NVENC] Ignoring quality and bitrate settings during 10-bit encoding.
  • [OBS] Witnessing corruption on scaling down 10-bit HVEC or AV1 content to less than 50% in the viewport for certain setups.
  • [Unity] Artefacts appearing when rendering overlapped geometry on an anti-aliased framebuffer.
  • [Adobe Premiere] Visual anomalies in Source and Program Monitor Previews with the 555.85 driver version.
