Dragon Age: The Veilguard is set to introduce a multitude of armor choices, ensuring players can prioritize aesthetics without compromising functionality, all thanks to a sturdy transmog system.

According to details by Game Informer, the upcoming installment in the franchise will offer a wide array of armor selections for companions and the protagonist, Rook. Companions will have dedicated slots for armor, rings, accessories, and weapons, while Rook will possess a helmet slot, two weapon slots, a belt, an amulet slot, and two ring slots. Notably, belts will hold significance by affecting the effectiveness of healing potions, some even having the ability to trigger additional perks such as temporary invincibility. Furthermore, the game will include exclusive gear tailored for specific companions or classes of Rook.

Fortunately, players need not feel obliged to outfit undesirable gear in Dragon Age: The Veilguard. Game Director Corinne Busche has assured gamers of a reliable transmog system that enables them to transfer the stats of one gear piece onto another with a different visual appearance. This system extends to both Rook and companions’ gear, providing an extensive range of customization possibilities for every member of the party.
