AMD is developing unique features for upcoming Ryzen processors with 3D V-Cache.

Following the triumph of AMD’s Ryzen 7 7800X3D, which swiftly soared to the top spot as the best-selling CPU for the company, anticipation is mounting for the imminent release of the Ryzen 9000 series. The upcoming X3D processors are projected to elevate performance levels with the integration of cutting-edge 3D V-Cache technology. Although the details of the Ryzen 9000 X3D lineup have yet to be unveiled officially, AMD has hinted at their development.

At Computex, AMD’s Senior Technical Marketing Manager, Donny Woligroski, hinted at the imminent arrival of a new breed of X3D processors, hinting at substantial enhancements over their predecessors.

Woligroski expressed enthusiasm about the advancements, stating, “The innovations we are making with X3D are truly remarkable. We are dedicated to pushing the boundaries and enhancing the capabilities of X3D technology, which is incredibly exciting. We are exploring new avenues to further elevate its performance and features.”

While technical details are currently scarce, enthusiasts can anticipate more information in the coming months. The initial wave of Ryzen 9000 desktop CPUs is scheduled for release in July, potentially paving the way for the debut of the first X3D SKU by early 2025.
