Share it

Emerging enterprises are shaping the landscape of technology. Throughout Europe and Israel, innovators are undertaking remarkable efforts at the vanguard of progress: working to resolve some of the most pressing challenges confronting our planet. However, these trailblazing firms frequently encounter difficulties in accessing the aid, knowledge, and resources necessary to assist them in expanding. Because the endeavors of startups are so crucial, we are dedicated to aiding them in their captivating journeys — offering Google’s top-notch tools, mentors, and connections.

Today, we are introducing applications for two Google for Startups Accelerator initiatives: Climate Change and AI First. These programs are crafted to empower startups by furnishing them with the resources essential to surmount obstacles and efficiently expand their solutions.

Google for Startups Accelerator: Climate Change

In collaboration with Google Sustainability and Google Cloud, this initiative is tailored for startups in the Seed to Series A stage in Europe and Israel that are creating technologies to combat climate change and contribute to attaining net-zero emissions — encompassing renewable energy innovations and advanced waste management systems.

Google for Startups Accelerator: Climate Change concentrates on harnessing cloud technology, AI, and machine learning to propel sustainability endeavors. AI’s capacity to identify patterns, make forecasts, and learn equips it uniquely to address the climate emergency; a collective study with Boston Consulting Group forecasts that AI holds the potential to alleviate 5-10% of global greenhouse gas emissions.

Google for Startups Accelerator: AI First

AI is transforming sectors, with the capability to resolve intricate issues and enhance efficiencies across diverse industries. An analysis by McKinsey approximates that AI could contribute $13 trillion to the global economy by 2030. Nevertheless, to actualize this prospect, AI progression must be underpinned by ethical considerations and robust technical know-how.

Tailored for startups in the Seed to Series A stage in Europe and Israel, in partnership with Google Cloud and Google DeepMind, Google for Startups Accelerator: AI First furnishes mentorship and technical backing to aid startups in growing responsibly with AI. This initiative supports adept teams with a clear vision of how AI and ML can tackle real-world predicaments across all sectors, who are developing AI-fueled solutions and leveraging AI and ML in transformative manners.
