Recently leaked images from a Russian site, Rozetked, have provided a detailed look at the Google Pixel 9. The design showcases a unique rear camera island with rounded corners and flatter sides, distinguishing it from its predecessor, the Pixel 8. While authenticity is always a consideration with leaked images, these photos align with previous unofficial renders circulating online.

The distinct wide camera island, along with standard features like the USB-C port, power and volume buttons, and a SIM tray slot, maintains the Pixel’s recognizable aesthetic.

The Google Pixel 8a pricing details have also emerged, with reports from PassionateGeekz and Notebookcheck indicating potential price points for the device. Retail listings in Canada suggest the 128GB variant may be priced at CA$708.99, while the 256GB model could cost CA$792.99. These figures hint at a notable price increase compared to its predecessor, the Pixel 7a, which was initially priced at $499 in the US.

Despite potential global pricing variations, the leaked details hint at a shift towards a higher price range for the Pixel 8a series. The Pixel 8a is expected to be officially unveiled at the upcoming Google I/O event in May 2024, providing more insights into Google’s mid-range handset offerings.
