The Arc 140V matching the speed of a GTX 1650… Despite being integrated graphics!

Recent findings from a leak on Geekbench reveal the impressive performance of the Intel 140V. This integrated GPU is a component of the Core Ultra 7 258V. Initial performance assessments indicate favorable outcomes, especially in synthetic evaluations.

Arc 140V: equivalent to the GTX 1650!

The benchmark results showcase an impressive score of 34,181 points on Geekbench for the integrated GPU. This places Intel’s GPU on a competitive level with NVIDIA’s GTX 1650, a well-established dedicated graphics card. Moreover, it positions the Intel GPU in comparison to AMD’s RADEON 780M, an integrated graphics solution commonly found in portable gaming consoles.

This performance metric is significant in highlighting the capabilities of an iGPU operating on the Battlemage architecture. It is worth noting that this architecture is anticipated to provide a 50% boost in performance over its predecessor, Alchemist.

Deployed within the Core Ultra 7 258V, this iGPU is complemented by an 8-core CPU (4P4E). The processor boasts a clock speed of 2.2 GHz and is equipped with a 12 MB L3 cache. Notably, the power consumption specifications are noteworthy, ranging between 17W to 30W, with the GPU section clocking in at 1.95 GHz.

Furthermore, the same Intel 140V will feature in the Core Ultra 9 288V, operating at a slightly higher frequency of 2.05 GHz. While these processors share a similar configuration, the Core Ultra 9 288V exhibits a higher PL1 value of 30W compared to the 17W of the Core Ultra 7 258V.
