Almost precisely twelve months prior, the crew at Asobo Studios revealed Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 – a sequel to the admired 2020’s title, introducing game engine enhancements, more than a dozen fresh occupations and more. In Microsoft’s latest game display, we glimpsed the forthcoming simulator once again – alongside a launch date.
Scheduled to launch on the 19th of November for Xbox Series X|S and PC, Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 “boasts the largest, most varied and intricate selection of aircraft, the most comprehensive portrayal of airports and air traffic, and the most visually astonishing recreation of Earth ever crafted.”
As earlier mentioned, the game is set to introduce a plethora of fresh occupations, tasks and role-playing possibilities, such as “aerial firefighting, search and rescue, commercial flights, remote cargo missions, VIP charter service, air racing, and more.”
Being an internal title, MSFS 2024 will naturally be available immediately on Xbox Game Pass. It’ll be intriguing to observe whether this version garners as much post-release backing as the previous one.
